A small selection of Sketches

All artwork I create wether a multi-story building or a canvas work start with a pencil, a sheet of paper and a sketch.
After years of undervaluing my drawing practice I am starting cultivate more respect for a skill I am embarrassed to say that I took for granted. This year I’m taking the time to SPEND TIME with my sketches and have decided to invest in creating small works on paper in the coming year. Over the years I’ve kept most of my paper sketches, housed in multiple boxes stashed in several houses. I must have hundreds of them… But here you can find a small selection of some of my more recent sketches. Many of these have been transformed into murals, some are ideas for future works and some are just for fun.
